Description

Businesses are adjusting to new the province’s new carbon levy. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) must start thinking about carbon costs the same way they think about labour, energy or the other costs of doing business. Managing this new cost line well will lead to a competitive advantage. Managing it poorly can hurt the bottom line and leave opportunities on the table.

Many SMEs will face a significant learning curve on how to manage these costs effectively. The Stony Plain & District and the Spruce Grove Chambers of Commerce are offering their members the change to participate in the Climate Smart Chambers program, a national initiative from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to help SMEs make some green by going green.

This webinar will feature Michelle Bonner, Vice President and Training Manager of Climate Smart Businesses (https://climatesmartbusiness.com/). Climate Smart Businesses’ award-winning tools and training program helps SMEs measure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Climate Smart Team will share a decade’s worth of insight on how to reduce emissions in a way that not only helps the environment, but your small business’ bottom line.

Spruce Grove and Stony Plain Chamber members join our webinar!
